Meet the IAMCP Board- Nicola Hannay, Marketing Chair

With over 17 years’ experience in technology organisations, I am still just as passionate… actually, more passionate…. about marketing and technology. I am lucky enough to Head up the marketing department at HSO, one of Microsoft’s top Dynamics partners, working with a fantastic team of people, defining the marketing strategy in order to stimulate interest, generate opportunities and help build the sales pipeline for Microsoft Dynamics 365 (formerly AX and CRM).

Following a very short spell as a school teacher, I began my marketing career in 1999 at Peak Technologies (now Peak Ryzex ), a systems integrator of supply chain automation solutions.

In 2006 I took on the role of Marketing Manager at supply chain and mobility solutions company, Zetes; and then in 2008 I moved to business analytics company, SAS, as Industry Marketing Manager. During my time at SAS I had the opportunity to experience various roles in marketing including running the Executive Programme.

I was delighted and actually felt rather privileged to be asked to join the board of the IAMCP to work with an amazing bunch of like-minded people. I strongly believe in the IAMCP’s mission to maximise business potential within the partner community and want to play a part in making that happen.

The strength of the Microsoft partners building relationships and working together has been proven to drive incremental business as well as providing better solutions for our customers. It offers educational events to support the partners as well as excellent networking opportunities. So on both a business and personal level being part of the IAMCP is a fantastic opportunity.

My role on the board of the IAMCP is Marketing Chair which means I am responsible for managing the marketing strategy and ensuring that the UK is held up as an exemplary chapter of IAMCP through marketing excellence and achievement in growth.

What I hope to achieve in my role is to execute a marketing plan that supports the growth targets of the IAMCP UK and drives the message proactively at events such as #MSInspire.
